Why are drug addicts stigmatized?
Question by Abielle: Why are drug addicts stigmatized?
If society promotes humanism and drug users are caught, they are treated like criminals. Why must a drug addict go to jail, instead of receiving counseling? It’s obvious they turn to drugs to escape something. The greatest irony is that alcohol is legal and it is a drug that makes you very aggressive and dangerous, whereas most illegal drugs do not.
I don’t care about drug merchants, as I know any illegal business is more profitable than a legal one.
